Is there any cost?

There is no cost to the participant

Is a fishing license required?

Yes , for participants over 16 years of age.

Where will be fishing?

The trips are all on beautiful Raystown Lake in Pennsylvania. 

Can the participant bring anyone along?

Yes, the participant can bring 2 additional people. For minors, we require one of the additional people be a parent or guardian.

What type of boat will we be fishing from?

The boat is a 22’ fully outfitted Smokercraft Pontoon Boat with a full cabin enclosure and the latest technology.

What equipment is provided?

All equipment is provided for the days fishing. Rain gear is not provided and is recommended in case of rain.

What fish will be targeting?

We will be fishing for Striped Bass, Lake Trout, Bass, or White Perch.

Can we keep any fish?

We promote catch and release at Healin & Reelin, however you can keep some fish for the table.

Who is the Captain?

 The Captain is Brad Etchberger. He has over 40 years fishing experience up and down the east coast, most of which is in Central Pennsylvania Lakes. 

What about food?

You are asked to bring any food and drinks that you will need for your trip. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

Is lodging provided?

At this point(and we are working on this), we are not able to provide lodging but there are many AirBnB’s and a few hotels very near the lake if desired.
