About Healin & Reelin
Healin & Reelin provides no cost fishing adventures at Raystown Lake, Pennsylvania to those individuals that are healing from emotional or physical trauma. The Mission was created in honor of my autistic nephew Paul. He continues to heal from the loss of his younger sister Violet in April 2016 and his older brother Donald in June 2018. Paul loves to spend the day fishing and boating. Those trips are all about Paul and helping him experience the joy that still can be found on the water. Healin & Reelin wants to help others to experience that same joy and maybe the fish of lifetime. There is no cost to the participant, other than the cost of a current Pennsylvania Fishing License for those over 16 years of age.
While we would love to provide a trip to all that are healing from something, there are a limited number of trips available each year so there is an application process. Please contact us to apply for a trip.
